We can make hand flags to any size. We manufacture for promotion companies, sporting clubs, for wholesale and anyone else that need custom printed hand wavers. Our high quality printed hand flags will suit any occasion.

We will give you the most common sizes for hand flags and you can decide if you need that size or something different.

90% of hand flags are made single sided having the image on the other side in reverse as these flags are small and is not necessary for double sided 3 layer flags, although if you want the hand flags to be double sided 3 layer flags then we can do that.  

Hand flags can come with poles:

1).Mini flags 4" x 6" flag with 0.6cm plastic pole length 25cm

2).6" x 9" flag with 0.6cm plastic pole length 30cm

3).8" x 12" flag with 0.8cm plastic pole length 45cm

4).12" x 18" flag with 0.8cm plastic pole length 60cm

5).16" x 24" flag with 1cm plastic pole length 90cm

6).2' x 3' flag with 1.2cm plastic pole length 100cm or with 0.8cm wooden pole 100cm

7).3' x 5'  flag with 1.5m plastic/wooden length 150cm 

Hand flag material:

75D woven polyester,

120gsm knitted polyester,

Coated Paper 157gsm,

The common flag material for hand flags is 75D/100D polyester it's a light weight and economy material and perfect for hand flags.

PE material is the most cheapest material. But this material suite for small size and big quantity.

157gsm paper, PVC material can be printed on both sided and 1ply.

Hand flags are great for sporting clubs and promo events but can be made for any type of event or function.

There are two finishing’s for flags either heat cut or hemmed please let us know which type you need on the quote form.

Custom Flag Printing Techniques

We use always use 3 types of printing techniques for printing flags they are Screen Print, Heat Transferring and Digital Sublimation Print, Screen printing by machine or hand and Digital print by digital imaging printing machine.

1. Custom flags with Screen printing:

• Screen printing flags will give a Bright and Vibrant colors but will not print complex designs.

• Best for larger quantities most cost effective. 

• Sharp Finish 

• Vibrant colors 

• Printed to PMS (Pantone) colors 

• Have to make film and printing plates

• No minimum quantity on custom flags. 

2. Custom flags with Digital Printing:

• Digital printing uses inkjet technology to create sharp and striking results every time, without minimum color.

• Excellent for complex designs and high-quality photos 

• Ideal for small quantities ( eg. 1 or 2 flags) and quick turn around time. 

• Full color printing process (Lot’s of Color) 

• No film and printing plates needed

• No minimum quantity on custom flags. 

3. Custom flags with Heat Transferring:

Heat Transfer Printing is a special printing technology which prints portrait or landscape or any other images on the sublimation printing paper with the sublimation ink, then heated up to certain temperature. The image on the paper will be transferred to textile fabric material with vivid color.

• Excellent for complex designs and high-quality photos 

• Ideal for small quantities (eg. 1 or 2 flags) and quick turn around time. 

• Full color printing process (Lot’s of Color) 

• No film and printing plates needed

• No minimum quantity on custom flags. 

What should I choose?

In short – if you need 1 or 2 flags digital print is your option if you require a larger amount of flags screen print is your option unless you have a complex design then digital print might be the only way, it’s better to send over your artwork and let us then tell you which is the best way.
